Joshua's artwork is "Relentless"

Joshua entered a Sectional Fine Arts Competition with a T-Shirt design of his own making. His sketches were very similar to the finished piece which was inked and then scanned into the computer. Joshua used the pen tool in Photoshop to create a great vector based image. He played with the layers and colors to get it all just right and then had it printed on a heavyweight bright white stock at the local Kinko's.

Here's the final sketch before Photoshop...

and here is his final artwork.

Here it is on display at the competition. He received a Superior with Invitation to the District level of competition. Way to go Joshua, make a dad proud!

He entered a Digital Photo too which is also advancing to the district level. This photo is featured in the "Creative Photography" section on the Hendersonworks web site. The section title icon uses the photo and it is the first photo in the section titled "Blossom in Tree".

Man's Day Logo Design

Had the opportunity a few months back to do a logo for an event called "Man's Day & Family Fun Event" held at our church. The event had a classic car show, motorcycles, camping, fishing, archery, and other displays. The Pittsburgh Bomb squad truck was on hand as well as a local skateboard park and a military airsoft company. Can't forget the pizza tasting contest between several local pizzerias.

Any way, it was a great deal of fun and the logo represented the event well, at least I think so.
You be the judge!

Here's a few of the many cars that attended the event.
